01. Overview

Advanced Dental Care of Anderson is an Anderson dental office that specializes in multiple forms of dentistry. They hired us to re-design their website as well as plan and implement a content marketing and search engine optimization campaign.

02. The Challenge

Advanced Dental Care of Anderson wanted to collaborate with a web design company located near their office. They were working with a web company based out of California. There was a lack of communication and the company they were working with was very impersonal. Their website was outdated, not mobile friendly and they were not ranking for their main keyword “Anderson Dentist”. 

03. The Solution

We did a complete overhaul on their website. We planned and implemented a design, content marketing, and search engine optimization strategy to enhance consumer engagement and increase new acquisition! 

Below is a list of steps we took to ensure that the phases of the project were being successfully completed.

Research

We used a collection of tools to research other dental offices around the nation to gather data that enabled us to design and develop their website appropriately in a way that would acquire and engage online consumers.

Plan Strategy

We planned a strategy around competitor and industry research. The plan involved design and development, content marketing, and search engine optimization.

Design Sitemap

We used research data to design a simple sitemap that included all the pages of the old site that we were going to keep and excluded the ones that we decided to ditch. The sitemap allowed us to visually show the client how the consumers were going to navigate through the web pages before we touched any code.

Develop Site

Using information from our plan strategy phase we designed and developed the site keeping in mind dental industry standards and online consumer psychology. We believe in simple user interface design so consumers can digest online content quickly and easily.

Implement Content Strategy

After the design was completed we implemented a content marketing strategy that enabled site content to be digested quickly and effectively. We communicated with business owner about content before the launch of the site and modified content as needed to meet specific business and search engine optimization standards.

Implement SEO Strategy

We compressed and resized all images on the website to increase page speed. We implemented on page local SEO from plan strategy phase including keyword strategy implementation. We tested site against multiple programs to make sure site was running at optimal performance. We configured Google Search Console to properly index all necessary web pages.

Monitor Site and Review Data

After we launched the website we monitored its performance for 3 weeks. We reviewed the data that was collected within that time period and revised the site as necessary to increase web performance.

Use Data to Revise

Since ADC was a managed web client, we constantly monitored and continue to monitor their web performance. We make changes every couple of weeks to increase website activity. We also update plugins, WordPress core, apply any necessary patches, and update and add any pages the client requests.

Configure My Business Page

We visited their dental office and took photos we knew would enahance their My Google Business page. We updated their address to match website as well as other My Business page content such as company description, phone number, and business hours.

Ongoing Blog Writing

To increase website activity and online consumer acquisition we write and post blog articles to their website every month. We research blog topics, identify industry keywords, and write content catered to the results.

Configure My Business Page

We visited their dental office and took photos we knew would enahance their My Google Business page. We updated their address to match website as well as other My Business page content such as company description, phone number, and business hours.

Ongoing Blog Writing

To increase website activity and online consumer acquisition we write and post blog articles to their website every month. We research blog topics, identify industry keywords, and write content catered to the results.

04. The Results

Three weeks after site launch the website started seeing an increase in website traffic! Before approaching us, they were receiving 125 average monthly clicks based off of their target key phrase, while their main competitor was receiving 476 average monthly clicks from the same key phrase. One month after site launch they were receiving an average of 175 monthly clicks from the same key phrase while their main competition saw a decrease.

They saw a decrease in bounce rate (metric used to monitor online consumers arriving and leaving web pages) and an increase in individual session duration of almost 5 minutes (amount of time spent by one individual on website). Since building the new site they have seen an increase in “requests an appointment” form submissions and call volume.

They were ranked #3 for their main key phrase but now rank #1 on both organic and map search results. Over the next few months our goal is to increase website activity based off of other keywords and phrases.
