Most of these are paid for annually under our business account – which could run the risk of being abused if not managed by us. In addition, the websites we develop have customized code that enables our client’s to competitively rank on Google for specific search terms. This code could cause a conflict of interest if we were to acquire a client in your industry and have to try and outrank a website that was built by us but is no longer managed by us. In other words, our code is our business. If someone can package our code, they can reverse-engineer our model, and compete against us.

To look at it another way, if you go to a restaurant you can get a scrumptious meal as often as you’d like as long as you pay for it, but you’ll never get the recipe or the cook. The same goes for our websites. You can get a stellar website for as long as you pay for it, but our code or our developer? Nah, we keep a tight grip on them.

There are no contracts – you can cancel at any time. If you have been with Charley Grey for twelve consecutive months or more, when you cancel your subscription, you can take all website content, blog articles, and imagery. We do not, however, provide the WordPress theme code, plugins or database files.

No. Although we use WordPress, the world’s most popular content management system, we don’t allow administrative access to the backend of your website. This is a managed website subscription and we will handle all of the editing and updating for you so you can focus on your business. We make it super easy to submit update tickets and handle all requests promptly.  We are totally willing to work with outside vendors you may have chosen to work with no differently than if we were your employees in-house.  Just send an introduction email giving us permission to work with them and we’ll take it from there.

It would be our pleasure. We will write any webpage content that you require, at no additional cost. When you want unique page copy, all you need to do is give us a short outline or point us to a reference website.

No. We recommend using Google for email and other business apps. It’s easy to use, fast, secure and comes with 24/7/365 support. We can help set this up during development. Google charges $6-$12/user/month.

Just a few things fall outside of the Managed Web Subscriptions such as graphic design for custom images or infographics, video production, custom photography, third-party subscription fees, email or social media marketing, or email boxes.
